Seconds out! It’s time for Soul Buggin’ to square up to the mighty City Fly crew from Leicester for a big old bank holiday session outside on the terrace of Rocket at Saltwater. 

Its been a few years since we’ve thrown an outdoor bank holiday party so we thought what better time to utilise the great terrace at Saltwater where even if the weather does get a bit iffy (very rare in this country we know) we’ll have plenty of cover. 

The City Fly crew who’ll be joining us have been making waves not just in the midlands but internationally after building a fine reputation with their parties in Leicester. Their record label has gone from strength to strength these past few years and seen great releases from the likes of Jonna, Creative Swing Alliance, Kez YM, Lay-Far, YSE, Pablo Valentino, Simbad, Ugly Drums, Red Rack’em to name just a few

Ahoy there! Beards at the ready people as we welcome Birmingham's 'Beardiest DJ' Sam Redmore (his words not ours) to our little dark room disco downstairs at The Irish here in Nottingham.

Sam came and played for us a few years back at The Bodega and smashed it good and proper so we thought it was about time we asked him back to the Buggin' wheels of steel. Remixer extraordinaire for all manner of artists his star has begun to shine bright and his productions now enjoys regular airplay on national radio. Don't miss this one people

Happy new year!

We hope you all had a great Xmas. Now the tree is firmly packed away it's time to move onwards and upwards for 2016 and guess what, we've only gone and found a new dancefloor.

It's downstairs at The I Club, which is part of the Irish Centre on Wilford Lane, NG2 1AA.

Anyway to celebrate our new venue we thought we'd have damn fine knees up with the residents Wrighty, Beane, Mark A & Elmo playing all night for you.

Entry is just £5 on the door and we run from 10pm through to 3am.

We've only gone and landed ourselves a monthly residency at Rough Trade Records here in Nottingham. Falling on the last Saturday of the month it'll be an early doors affair to warm your Saturday nights right. 7pm-11pm in the upstairs bar. This month your host for the evening with be Mark A laying down a sweet 4 hour set of all the good stuff

Rolling into Rough Trade...

Soul Buggin' in a record shop? With a bar? Sounds like a marriage made in heaven if you ask us!

We'll be rolling into the brand spanking new Rough Trade records upstairs bar for a little instore session on Satuday 28th March. It'll be an early one (7pm-11pm) and free entry all night so a great way to kick off your Saturday night if you're heading out elsewhere.
